Stability Enhancement of Inverters in Grid-Connected Microgrids Using FIR Filter

Under weak grid conditions and in microgrids, the gird impedance is often large has a highly varying nature. In such scenario, stabilizing grid-connected inverters with an LCL output filter could be challenging task. The control delay that comes from sampling PWM may contribute to worsen this condition. particular, mentioned causes critical frequency at one-sixth of (f s /6), which jeopardize converter's stability case variations. Also, coupling effect among parallel converters, likely scenario microgrid applications, another factor threaten system stability. To deal these challenges, article proposes resonance damping method employs finite-impulse response amend effect. way, robustness enhanced keeps its irrespective variations interaction between inverters. Experimental results show correctness theoretical conclusions confirm efficiency suggested technique.
